Went in for a surgical consult for an alleged ACL tear. Scheduled surgery as Surgical Vet was positive my dog needed ACL repaired based on just exam. Stated knee was swollen and there was movement in bones. Did not do xrays even when I asked. Left and called a vet in city for second opinion as this diagnosis did not feel right. The second vet on exam said no way was it an ACL and did xrays to verify that was correct. Almost put my dog through a $2500 Surgery he did not need. We won't be back.
Just stopped by looking for help with our dog and ladies at the desk just looked at me and continued to sort papers and wouldn't come to the door. Pretty bad when I live a couple blocks from there and will now be going to Atwater.
